What Gets Captured

When saving web content, Corixa captures the following automatically:

Content Type Captured Data
Web Pages Title, URL, favicon/thumbnail, selected text (if any)
YouTube Videos Title, thumbnail, channel, duration, views, likes, published date
Manual Notes Title, notes, optional URL, optional custom thumbnail
Dropped Files Filename, file type, preview (for images)

Duplicate Detection

Corixa automatically detects duplicates to keep your library clean.

How It Works

  • URLs - Compared against existing items
  • YouTube Videos - Matched by video ID
  • Similar Titles - Fuzzy matching for near-duplicates

When a duplicate is detected:

  • The existing item is updated with any new information
  • No duplicate entry is created
  • You're notified of the update
