Managing Your Tabs

Display Modes

TabSight offers two ways to view your tabs:

Grouped Mode (default)

• Tabs organized by browser window
• Window name shown as section header
• Collapse/expand individual windows
• Visual hierarchy for better organization

Compact Mode

• Flat list of all tabs across all windows
• Best when you have few windows but many tabs
• Faster scanning when you know what you are looking for

Switch between modes using the mode picker in the header toolbar.

Switching Tabs

• Click any tab in the list to switch to it
• The browser brings the window forward and activates that tab
• The dock remains visible so you can switch again quickly

Searching Tabs

• Type in the search bar at the top of the expanded dock
• Results filter in real-time as you type
• Matches against both tab title and URL
• Works in both grouped and compact modes
• Clear search with the X button or by deleting text

Closing Tabs

• Hover over any tab to reveal the close button (X)
• Click the X to close that tab in the browser
• The tab list refreshes automatically

Opening New Windows

• Click the New Window button in the header toolbar
• Opens a new browser window (choose Safari or Chrome)
• The new window appears in the tab list on next refresh

Favicons

• Each tab shows a small favicon for quick visual identification
• Favicons are loaded from Google's favicon service
• Only the domain name is sent (not the full URL)
