Corixa Spaces Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using Corixa Spaces ("the Software"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") in addition to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not download or use the Software.

2. Description of the Software

Corixa Spaces is a macOS workspace app. Each space holds the panels for one client, project or role (websites, local folders, terminals, AI Chat and Agenda) and keeps its own sign-ins. Corixa Spaces requires macOS 14.0 or later and a Mac with Apple Silicon.

3. License

Your license to use the Software is granted under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, supplemented by these Terms. You may install and use Corixa Spaces on Macs associated with your Apple Account, as the Mac App Store usage rules allow, for personal or commercial purposes.

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, create derivative works, remove proprietary notices, use it for illegal purposes, or redistribute it outside the Mac App Store.

4. In-App Purchases

• Corixa Spaces is free with the Start space plus two of your own. Corixa Spaces Pro is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks unlimited spaces and supports Family Sharing
• A free 14-day trial of Pro is offered when you add a third space. After it ends without a purchase, spaces beyond two are locked but not deleted
• Purchases are processed by Apple. Corixa does not handle payments or store payment details. Refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com

5. Websites and Third-Party Services

• The websites you open in Corixa Spaces are provided by others, and their own terms apply. You are responsible for using your accounts on those sites in line with their terms
• Connecting GitHub is optional and subject to GitHub's terms
• AI models you download (for example from Hugging Face) are provided by third parties under their own licenses. Ollama and terminal servers such as ttyd are separate software you install yourself
• Apple Intelligence features are provided by Apple and depend on your Mac, macOS version and region

6. Privacy

How the app handles data is described in the Corixa Spaces Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

Corixa Spaces and its code, design, branding and documentation belong to Corixa. You keep ownership of everything you create or add in the app, including notes, layouts and shared spaces.

8. AI Output

AI-generated answers may be wrong or incomplete. Don't rely on them alone for decisions where accuracy matters. You are responsible for how you use AI output.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

CORIXA SPACES IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, AND COMPATIBILITY WITH ANY PARTICULAR WEBSITE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CORIXA IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR USE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR CORIXA SPACES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Corixa against claims arising from your use or misuse of the Software, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of the terms of websites or services you use through it.

12. Termination

You may stop using Corixa Spaces at any time by deleting it. We may end access to Pro features if you violate these Terms, act fraudulently, or if the law requires it. Your data stays on your Mac.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be noted in the app's update notes. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. Disputes are first addressed informally by contacting support@corixa.io; unresolved disputes are settled by binding arbitration under Icelandic law.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, the Privacy Policy and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement are the entire agreement between you and Corixa about Corixa Spaces. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
