Getting Started
1. Create a space
Choose File → New Space (⌘⇧N), or click + in the space rail. Give it a name and an icon, then click Create. Use one space per customer, tenant, project or role.
2. Add panels
Choose File → New Panel (⌘N), or click + in the panel list. A panel can be a Website, Local Folder, Terminal, AI Chat or Agenda; a Separator groups panels. You can also drag a link from Safari or Chrome into the list.
3. Sign in
Sign in to each website inside the space where you want that account. Every space keeps its own sign-ins, so the same service can be open in several spaces as different accounts.
4. Switch
Press ⌘⌥1–9 to switch spaces and ⌘1–9 to switch panels within a space. You can change these shortcuts in Settings → Shortcuts.
Everyday Use
Notes beside a site
Press ⌥⌘N to show the Notes inspector next to the page. Use + New Card or Paste as Card, or select text on a page and press ⌘⇧C to send it to Notes. Notes are kept per website within each space.
Order and group panels
- Drag spaces in the rail to reorder them; the Start space stays first
- Drag panels in the list to reorder them, or onto another space to move them
- Add a Separator from New Panel; give it a label to make a section header. Right-click it to rename or delete it
Back up and restore
Go to Settings → Backup & Sharing → Backup and choose Export… or Import…. A backup holds your spaces, panels, layout and notes. It does not hold sign-ins, so you sign in again after restoring on another Mac. Restoring only adds; it never deletes what you already have.
Share a space with a colleague
Right-click the space and choose Share Space…, then Save… or Share…. Your colleague imports the file by double-clicking it, dropping it on the space rail, or right-clicking + in the rail and choosing Import Space….
- Sign-ins are never included; your colleague signs in with their own accounts
- Notes are included only if you turn on Include notes
- Custom scripts in a shared space stay off on import unless your colleague reviews and enables them
Delete a space or a panel
- Right-click a space and choose Delete Space. This signs out every site in that space and can't be undone. The Start space can't be deleted
- Right-click a panel and choose Delete. An Undo banner (⌘Z) shows for a few seconds
Pro and Purchases
What's free and what Pro adds
Corixa Spaces is free with the Start space plus two of your own, with unlimited panels in each. Corixa Spaces Pro is a one-time purchase of $29.99 that unlocks unlimited spaces and supports Family Sharing.
The 14-day trial
Adding a third space offers a free 14-day trial; you can also start it from Settings → Pro. It never starts on its own. If the trial ends and you don't buy, two spaces stay active (choose which in Settings → Pro → Active spaces). The others are locked: their sites, notes and sign-ins stay, but their panels open again only with Pro. Nothing is deleted, and backup and sharing keep working.
Restore a purchase
Use Restore Purchases in Settings → Pro, in the Pro sheet, or on a locked space. Purchases and the trial are tied to your Apple Account.
Common Issues
A site keeps signing me out
- Make sure you signed in inside the right space; each space has its own sign-ins
- Settings → Spaces → Profile data has Clear Cache, which keeps sign-ins, and Clear All Data, which signs you out. Use Clear Cache first
A link should open another app
When a site wants to open another app, such as Excel or Mail, Corixa Spaces asks once for that site. You can change your answers in Settings → Browsing.
Camera or microphone in video calls
macOS asks once for camera and microphone access. You can change it later in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
AI features aren't available
- Ask about the page needs macOS 26 with Apple Intelligence turned on
- AI Chat works with models you download in the app, with Ollama running on your Mac, or with Apple Intelligence on macOS 26
- AI Chat panels can be turned on or off in Settings → AI Chat
A Terminal panel won't connect
Terminal panels connect to a terminal server (ttyd) running on your Mac. The New Panel sheet shows how to start one.
